It is not a standard massage — every session is individually tailored following a thorough consultation, taking into account your diagnosis, treatment history, current medications, and how you are feeling on the day.
Our approach is rooted in compassion and clinical awareness. We use gentle, nurturing touch — lighter pressure, careful positioning, and a pace that honours where your body is right now. The aim is never to push or stimulate, but to offer comfort, ease, and a profound sense of being cared for.
The benefits of Oncology Massage are wide-ranging and well-documented. Clients often experience a meaningful reduction in anxiety and emotional distress, relief from treatment-related fatigue, improved sleep, reduced muscular tension and pain, and an overall sense of calm and restored wellbeing. For many, it is simply a space to feel like themselves again.
During your session, you will be made completely comfortable with supportive cushioning and warm, soft linens. Your therapist will check in with you throughout, adjusting pressure and technique as needed. Sessions can be as short as 10 minutes or extended to 30 minutes depending on your energy levels and what feels right on the day — there is no expectation, only care.
Special considerations: We ask all clients to complete a detailed health consultation prior to their first session. Areas affected by surgery, radiation, active infection, open wounds, or lymphoedema will always be avoided. We work in close respect of your medical team's guidance and will never proceed with anything that feels contraindicated.
